The following conditions of sale apply to all services and products provided by SuproNet, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing:
1. We make use of Hetzner Africa to host the Websites. Unless you would like to use a different supplier, Hetzner Africa’s conditions will apply and is non-negotiable. The conditions are aimed at providing fair use to all users and to
prevent misuse. The following pages contain the conditions:
1. By entering into an agreement for the hosting of a site with SuproNet, you accept Hetzner Africa’s conditions unconditionally.
2. SuproNet undertake to take all reasonable care to publish the information that you provide accurately. However, SuproNet accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss that you may incur, directly or consequencially, because of bona
fide mistakes or errors or information that we publish in good faith. You remain responsible for the content of your Website and undertake to:
- Check proofs and published information within a reasonable time and to inform SuproNet timely if there are any errors.
- Accept all responsibility and to exempt SuproNet from any claims or other legal action that may be instituted against you for information appearing on your Website.
3. Fees related to registration and hosting of the Website is payable before registration. Hosting fees are payable annually in advance.
4. Fees related to the design and development of the Website is payable as follows:
- At least 50% before the design commences.
- Balance within one week after the Website has been published.
5. The Website will only be published after you have approved the design and content. It is your responsibility to thoroughly check the contents for accuracy. Any errors that have to be corrected after you have approved the content, will
be for your account (additional).
6. Unless agreed to in writing, all information and graphic elements needed for the design will be supplied by you in a form/format that can reasonably be used. Unless specifically agreed to in writing (included in the quote), SuproNet
will not find information for you, nor conduct research to find information for publication on your Website. The information you provide at the start of the project, will be considered as final. Any changes initiated by you after we have
started with the design will be included at a rate of R300 per hour (VAT excluded) if the changes are requested after the initial input has already been processed and/or if the changes increase the scope of the work.
7. SuproNet’s prices include the services as described. Any additional services may increase your cost.
8. A “page” (in terms of the size of the Website) refers to information and graphics displaying in about 2 to 3 screen-lengths and one screen wide on a 14” screen displaying 640 to 800 pixels horizontally when it is displayed in a
reasonable and legible font size.
9. The prices and all quotations are based on the assumption that clients and potential clients will visit SuproNet’s offices whenever direct contact is required. If SuproNet has to visit the client for whatever reason, additional
compensation of R300 per hour (VAT excluded) will be payable.
10. SuproNet retains the right to remove any Website or portion thereof without prior warning if:
- any of these conditions are not met.
- any payment is in arrears or
- it is SuproNet’s opinion that the Website breaches any law of the country.
If the service is suspended due to this condition, SuproNet will inform the client about it within a reasonable time.
If the service is suspended due to this condition, the client is still accountable for all fees for the whole period and all fees already paid are forfeited to SuproNet.
11. SuproNet retains the right to remove any Website or portion thereof after reasonable prior warning if being associated with the Website is, according to SuproNet’s sole discretion, harmful to SuproNet’s reputation and good standing.
In such a case SuproNet will refund fees already paid pro rata to the hosting time not utilised. Fees for initial design, development and set-up will not be refunded.
